Pete Kyle (Director / Camera)
Pete has been working in film and tv since graduating from Bournemouth Film School in 1989. Initially working as a sound recordist then progressing through post production, directing and camera work. Pete has a very strong understanding of the technical side – as well as an eye for a good shot (Radio Times calling his filming ‘stunning’, Broadcast Magazine calling it ‘artful’)
Clients include BBC, ITV, Sky, C4, Five, BT, Toyota, Ford, Cambridge University Press, Proctor and Gamble, NHS, Highways Agency and many more besides. Over the last year Pete has been filming for a documentary for The Halo Trust all over the world.
More recently Pete has been making video for the web and has the experience to provide high quality, affordable online content.
Simon Price (Writer / Director)
Simon Price has worked in broadcast television for over 15 years. Beginning at Carlton TV (ITV) as producer/director for late night youth entertainment and drama show – ‘Shift’. Simon then went on to become the Drama Development Producer for Shift overall. Simon was also responsible for discovering and signing new short films for ITV.
Having worked at ITV for three years Simon moved to Suffolk and set up Fat Kid Films (working with Pete), a production company that produced numerous single documentaries and dramas for Anglia (ITV) as well as a number of pieces for the new BBC digital channels. Simon then moved into advertising, primarily for the music industry. In 2008 Simon and Pete concentrated on web videos with the aim of bringing broadcast standard to internet production successfully completing numerous web based productions for major clients (eg BBC, VW, Universal, P&G) and continues to make adverts for the music industry as well as branching into other areas (documentary, live performance) whilst continuing to work as a producer for Channel 4 music.
Robin Shaw (Sound)
Robin has worked in TV sound for over 20 years, he is a regular on DIY SOS, Coast, Bargain Hunt, Dickinson’s Real Deal, The Gadget Show and pretty much everything else. An extremely reliable sound engineer; capable of getting the best sound, in the most demanding environments and in a stress free manner.
Like any good recordist you don’t know he is there. What you do get is top notch sound – something sadly missing from many online films.
